Habanos introduces the new Habanos Añejados Series (Aged). These cigars are rolled and aged in Cuba for a minimum of 5 years. Stored in ideal conditions for preservation, which allows the cigars to develop in complexity without losing their initial characteristics. Through the aging process the cigars have become rounder and mellower to the palate. A woody taste is prominent thanks to the years of resting in cedar. The Romeo y Julieta Piramides Añejados, first of the new series, are presented in labelled boxes with double band. The boxes carry the original roll date, as well as the “Revisado” (Checked) stamp on the bottom of the box.
